Problem
Before reaching out to Ciegate, Freeman Orthodontics had two office locations housing numerous desktop computers connected to a remote server connection. In February 2011, Freeman Orthodontics reached out to Ciegate for assistance and has been a satisfied partner since.
Solution
Ciegate set-up the company with XenDesktop to virtualize their servers, in turn minimizing their server footprint and optimizing workflow. The company was transferred to cloud email system through a secure email host.
Result
Freeman Orthodontics has expanded from 2 to 4 offices and is continuing growth. The changes Ciegate implemented allowed for each office to optimize their patients’ experience. Previously, working from a remote server caused images to process slowly when being viewed or downloaded. Transitioning to a virtual server greatly improved image processing.
